The Foundation in Short:

The Åke Wiberg Foundation was established in 1953 through a donation by Åke Wiberg, a business leader and politician. Today, the foundation has capital exceeding SEK 2.5 billion and annually awards grants totaling more than SEK 60 million. Its three main areas of focus are medical research, the humanities and social sciences, and support for children and young people.
